Women's Rugby at UC Berkeley

The Cal Women’s Rugby Team is a Gold Tier Sports Club at the University of California, Berkeley. The team competes in the highly competitive Pacific Mountain West D1 Conference, which includes Stanford, Chico State, UC Davis, and Fresno State. As a club sport, the team is member-run, allowing players with a variety of experiences to actively partake in the team.

Established in 1998, CWR has a longstanding history of supporting womxn athletes and contributing to the growth of bay area Rugby.

Throughout its tenure the CWR program players have been selected for the USA Rugby Women’s Collegiate All-American squad, USA Rugby Women’s National Team, the Women’s 7s National Team, the Women’s Collegiate, and U20 National Team.
